On the auspicious day of 14th April 2023, coinciding with the 24th Day of the Second Month of Water Female Rabbit Year, the Ministry of Home Affairs appointed Choeku Wangchuk and Jigme Singye as Dzongrab of Samtse Dzongkhag Administration and Dungpa of Lamoi Zingkha Dungkhag Administration, Dagana respectively.
Choeku Wangchuk was serving as the Chief Civil Registration and Census Officer at the Department of Civil Registration and Census under the Ministry of Home Affairs while Jigme Singye was serving as the officiating Dungpa at Lhamoi Zingkha.
