The Director, DLO and a team of officials from Southern Dzongkhags met with the Hon’ble DG of SSB Sujoy Lal Thaosen (IPS) and senior SSB Officials at Jumotshangkha- Bhairabkunda border on August 3, 2022.
His Excellency Thaosen was appointed as the new DG of SSB recently on June 1, 2022 and was on his familiarization trip to Assam sector of India-Bhutan borders.
During the visit, cross border issues of mutual interest were shared for support and cooperation of each other when international border reopens on September 23, 2022.
