Her Excellency Mariana Pacheco Montes, the Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency the Home and Cultural Affairs Minister, Lyonpo Ugyen Dorji following the presentation of her credentials to His Majesty The King on 8th June 2022.
Their Excellencies exchanged views on a wide range of issues and it was noted that Colombia has been very proactive in terms of bilateral engagements over the past decade.
Bhutan and Colombia established formal diplomatic relations on December 21, 2012.
